Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling We deliver to UK mainland addresses only. If you would like delivery to non UK mainland addresses please contact us prior to ordering so we can confirm a delivery price. Our products are delivered by national couriers between 8.00am and 5.30pm to a UK mainland address of your choice. We ensure that you receive your goods as quickly as possible and at a reasonable cost. For orders over £300.00 we will deliver free of charge under our standard delivery terms. For orders under £300 excluding vat we have a standard delivery charge of only £10.00. All orders placed online will automatically fall into our standard delivery schedule. Our standard delivery time is between 2 to 5 working days following the day the order was placed. The goods will arrive on any working day in-between this period, between 8.00am and 5.30pm. This is dependant of items ordered. Special orders such as items with a fabric will take longer and be dependant on supplier delivery. A responsible person must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods. Goods will not be left at the delivery address unless signed for. We cannot give an exact day or time of arrival under this delivery schedule. If this is going to present a problem why not specify your work or a business address as the delivery address. Please note; Saturday, Sunday and national bank holidays are not working days. Special delivery we offer next day delivery and a specified week day delivery service. For orders to be dispatched under either of these delivery schedules the order must be placed by telephone. Next day delivery can only be achieved if we receive your order before 10.30am. These special delivery schedules are at extra cost and are not covered by our free delivery on orders over £300.00 offer. You will be informed of the cost of these deliveries when you place your order. The cost of these deliveries is governed by size and weight and range between £20.00 (small, light weight items) up to £65.00 (large, heavy items which can be accommodated on one pallet). Large orders may require more than one pallet. Special deliveries will arrive between 9.00am and 5.30pm on the specified day. We can also offer deliveries before 9am and 12am as an additional cost please contact us for prices. Saturday delivery is also available at an additional cost. Order requiring special delivery options can be ordered online and then contact us to arrange special delivery options. Alternatively contact us via email or telephone to arrange special delivery. Note: We use national carriers to deliver our goods and are subject to their business terms. Deliveries are made to the kerb-side. The driver will require the help of an able bodied person to unload the goods. It is not the driver\'s responsibility to move goods into your home or under cover and they are not insured to do this. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem with access please inform us by telephone at the time of order. A responsible person will be required to sign for and inspect the goods on arrival. Goods will not be left without a signature. If a delivery is made to an address and no one is available to accept delivery we reserve the right to charge for any incurred additional delivery charges either to the delivery address or back to our warehouse. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Delivery of Aquariums, Stands, Cabinets & Other Large & Heavy Items Due to the fragile nature of aquariums, you will be asked to inspect your goods for damages or breakage on delivery prior signing and accepting the delivery. Make sure you are in when to aquarium gets delivered, cut open the wrapping and inspect the tank and check the packing of cabinet's etc. damage. In the unlikely event that parts of your delivery are damaged, you must refuse the delivery. Please inform us immediately so we can take care or re-delivery. Once the delivery has been accepted and signed for, no claim can be made for any damages as deliveries are fulfilled by a third party we can't offer installation of your aquarium. Stands and cabinets are delivered flat packed for easy assembly. Please note that the delivery charge includes delivery to your kerbside, not upstairs, into the living room etc. If you are not present at the between you and the courier agreed delivery time, a re-delivery charge will apply.

| Delivery Schedule Standard delivery time is 3 - 5 working days. Where the product is delivered from the supplier the delivery time may increase to 7 - 10 working days. In the unlightly event that the product is out of stock the dcelivery time may indeed increase however we will do everything we can to expediate the process no matter what the circumstances. Yopu may also then be given an alternative or similar product choice. |

Guarantee Cancellation Rights, Returns and Refunds Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your purchase. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within 7 working days from the day after you receive your goods.
As stated above notification of cancellation must be in writing, a telephone call is not a valid cancellation.
No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 once you have used your product, unless the product is defective and you are returning it for this reason.
No right of cancellation exists for downloaded goods or "softcopy" goods to which you, the customer has instant access to or use of.
Please observe the following procedure for all returns to us:
On the back of your delivery note or on another piece of paper, (if you no longer have your delivery note), include your order number and the reason for the return.
If you are returning your product because it is defective, please state the defect or defects.
Repackage the product in its original packaging, including any accessories, brochures, manuals, guarantees or warranties that came with the product. Unfortunately we will be unable to issue a refund where the product is in an incomplete state.
If the original packaging surrounding the product has been damaged or destroyed we will only issue a refund if the product is being returned due to a defect. If the original packaging of a defective product has been damaged or destroyed you should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us.
You are responsible for paying any postage or shipping costs incurred when returning the product.
We recommend that all returns be sent by registered post, so that a record of the return is available for you.
We will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us.
Where a return is lost or stolen in transit to us, you should claim compensation from the company that shipped the return.
If you fail to return a product to us, we may make arrangements to have the product collected from you. The cost of this collection will be passed on to you.

7.13 Subject to the above, we will refund the purchase price of a returned product within thirty days of receiving written notification of your intention to return the product.
7.14 We will also refund the cost of standard or recorded postage incurred returning a product, if incorrectly sent by us or where the product has been returned due to a defect. Please note that we will not refund any courier, overnight or express element of any delivery or postage charge, including Royal Mail Special Delivery.
